RE: Mutual

I found a quote on Keelan's blog:
The feeling  is mutual. This post does represent how real our league system is. Troy Davis, an innocent man put to death by the supreme court even after the jury had admitted false testimony the continued the execution. Were the justices trying to make a point and if so what the heck was it!?

September 12, 2011 was the date of execution of Troy Davis was executed. This man spent 22 years in jail for the murder of a Georgia police officer. Davis has had several attempts to clear his name and all ended the same with him guilty. The day Davis was to be executed the jury of his case had told the court that there testimony was a lie. Many protesters had gathered around the court house in friendly protest to help free Davis, but they were unsuccessful. The supreme court seemed to have already made up there mind. Was it a statement that are word is law (literally)? why didn't they give this man another shot he's been more than patient.

Was the evidence really the best they had or were willing to give. Eye witness's stated the Davis was the shooter, but where the finger prints? isn't that what we use to know whether the shooter used this particular weapon? I hate to say but, this seems like this was a beist case to begin with. Not just in terms of race but, lets somebody to put the blame on. This case goes much deeper and certainly deserves more investigation. Good post Keelan really got me thinking.
