From TJ's blog:
I feel for your dad dude. That really does suck when you don't have work. I do know family and loved ones that are unemployed. I'm sure that has to be going through the many unemployed people not just in America but everywhere.
The unemployment rate in the U.S is at 9.1%. That is to many people to be without jobs. All the money that one percent of America gets and we still don't have a damn thing. Now the president has asked for the raising of taxes, but how far will that go. Well people in New York, Boston, and even Oakland has stood up in there own way.
It shows true bravery to be able to go out there and protest even it is friendly. Even Mr. Sutherland has shown the courage to go out there and be apart of something that big. This is also something that is going to affect us when we graduate from school. We are slowly rolling are way into deeper financial problems. So many things can go wrong if you loss house or in dept to begin with. It takes volunteers like the people in Oakland to make a change.
It truly shows as well when students become active in this cause. Knowing that they are apart of this system and it can only get worse. Being active will send a message to the people "in charge", that we are here and we want something to change.
