Just recently the Oakland Raiders acquired a one Mr. Carson Palmer from the Cincinnati Bengals. Wait what, we picked a quarterback who went 2-12 last season then wined about a wanting a trade then threatened retirement. This guy hasn't even smelled a super bowl and he isn't even in his prime. Now granted he has a all time QB rating of 86.9 and he has passed for for 62% life time, but is he worth two first round draft picks?
Hold up, didn't we just lose our owner (R.I.P Al) who the hell made this decision. Why did they think he was worth two first round draft picks. This guy is 31 years old he wont last forever. I think he isn't worth more than one first round draft pick and maybe a player. Now that gives us 4 quarter backs and what if Palmer does fucking amazing does Jason Campbell get kicked to the kerb.
Now I am not going to dog this guy all day there are some benefits to us getting Palmer. Unlike Campbell Palmer has been to the pro bowl and the playoffs twice. Having experience in that department does help in terms of a winning season. The best thing about it is that he coach Hue Jackson has gotten to know Carson Palmer both at USC and the Bengals organization. Hopefully this QB is worth every penny.
