OK maybe some of you guys remember me dogging on Carson Palmer for how crappy he was in Cincinnati.Well I jumped the gun just a tad. I found out Palmer had some injury problems sense 2008. Now that might not be an excuse in the long run but for now it does.

As I said and admit I jumped the gun the first time I heard about the trade. I agree that he was not worth that much a first and second round pick or 2 first rounders if we go to the playoffs. However look a little deeper into what he has done. He has gone to the playoffs before, some quarterbacks are not able to say that. Palmer has also been to the pro bowl and won MVP at the pro bowl. Now I would like for him to bring the interception total all together but, that's a work  in progress.

Carson also has a bright side he has worked with this coach more than once. Coach Jackson worked with him at USC and coach Jackson worked with the receivers in Cincinnati and lets cut him some slack for two reasons. One this is his first game with the raiders when he doesn't really know the playbook. The reason we put hm in this Sunday is because how bad Boller was. Second he has not played in  six weeks. Honestly who is at there best at anything after six weeks of not doing your profession. It will be a little difficult for the next game perhaps but, give him some time then make your decision.
