BC:Somewhere Dark

Your stuck. Locked away from every thing. You can't find a way out. You don't know if your on the cusp of life or death. You're gasping for air. Heart pounding, can't breath, MIND SWIRLING!.....

The lights are out. You don't remember  why or how you got here you just know you have to get. Locked in a school surrounded by lockers,  all windows and doors closed, locked. Your friends and family are gone and you're alone. Scared shaking where to turn, when to do it, how to do it. Do I turn with caution or with excitement? What am I looking for, a way out or a way to stay in? A loud sound in the distance. A foul stench through the air. What could it be? You look for the smell. There are only a small glimpses of light through the window, but its not enough. You feel along the lockers, searching, Splash! Hands on the ground you feel water. It's seeped through your shoes and socks. Still looking you walk up stair sand find the smell. A filthy dog chewing on a bone he must of got it from a science class. How did it get hear? The moonlight glistening off its eyes.  It sees you.

You step back slowly. One step at a time. The dog approaching, snarling. Out of panic,  you run. The dog follows, slipping and sliding everywhere you head for down stairs. The dog seems like its going a 100 miles a  hour, finally some stairs. Slipping you reach  for the railing. Sprinting down the stairs you see the dog collide against a wall, he is relentless. Chasing all through the halls you enter a room. Locked in the room you hear this scratching against the door your frightened.Panting out of breath the scratching has stopped.

Freaking out scared out of your mind you still can,t think straight, a  plan needs to be thought out. An idea has hit. You need something sharp something strong that will break the window. You have to  head to the supply closet in one of the teachers rooms. Silence is key in case of the dog. You take tiny footsteps back up the stirs hesitant you see the dog a sleep by one of the rooms. What if that is door with most important materials hopefully it won't, but there is something next to the dog, something shiny. The bump is very noticeable on top of its head. You must be cautious, one mistake and the dog might wake up. Sweat dripping off your forehead. your hand getting closer, closer, and closer. Quick attempt with your hand! You've got it. You close your eyes for a quick second and the dog was gone. Was I hallucinating? All the lockers had disappeared along with the stairs. The moonlight and two doors remain.

Maybe your dead, the two doors to the left and right of you are a gate way to heaven or hell. A choice has to be made. The pressure is over baring, what if that stupid dog comes back. You reach for the door on your left, you pull back. You have begun to shake. Your bravery has taken over and you go for it. With no hesitation you twist the door nob of the left door and jump through!

Your falling, falling into pitch black the smell is back. In the distance, are the eyes of the dog. Those golden eyes that pierced into your soul when you had your first encounter. He barks and you wake. As it turns out this was all a dream. You had fallen out of your bed.  That disgusting smell happens to be your dogs stinky breath. The loud sound came from your dumb neighbor who lives next door and won't turn down there music and the water you were dreaming about came from the rain out smacking against your window. Was there a purpose to this who knows school makes people crazy.
